Today, Western continues to grow with more than 80 employees fulfilling specialty functions such as engineering, quality, inspection, and production. We use proprietary technology to forge some of the hardest, most difficult alloys on the market into 100% quality-controlled flanges. Every product undergoes a rigorous, sophisticated monitoring and quality assurance program, from heat treatment to testing to the final inspection. Additionally, Western is in full compliance with outlined ASME, PED, ISO, and TSSA standards, a distinction held by only a handful of forging providers in the United States.
For this position, day-to-day responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to:
Generate, receive, qualify and quote customer inquiries for orders via phone/email.
Order entry review and approval
Ability to develop new customers as well as maintain the customer service needed for current customers.
Review customer specifications and testing requirements
Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints
Organizational multi-tasking and sales prospecting/follow up/closing abilities
Desired Requirements
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Passionate in selling products and ability to meet the sales targets.
Proficiency with basic computer programs, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
The ability to work independently, multi-task and manage time efficiently
Competency
Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales
Knowledge in metals
High School Diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Desired Qualifications
Knowledge of manufacturing industry
