Position Description: We are seeking a

Revenue Cycle Communications Specialist

to support a large federal healthcare modernization initiative focused on transforming revenue cycle capabilities across the Military Health System. This role will work within a Program Management Office (PMO) environment to develop and deliver strategic communications that support enterprise-wide program initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and leadership visibility.

The ideal candidate is an experienced communicator who can translate complex technical and operational initiatives—such as

EHR implementations, healthcare revenue cycle modernization, and system configuration updates —into clear, engaging, and visually compelling communication products for diverse audiences including senior leadership, operational teams, and healthcare stakeholders.

This role will be responsible for developing communication strategies, creating executive-level presentation materials, producing multi-channel communication products, and coordinating messaging across program workstreams to ensure transparency, alignment, and adoption throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute communication strategies supporting enterprise healthcare modernization initiatives

Translate complex revenue cycle and system modernization concepts into clear messaging for diverse stakeholders

Maintain program communication plans including audience segmentation, communication channels, timelines, governance, and success metrics

Ensure communication efforts align with program goals and stakeholder engagement strategies

Executive Communications & Leadership Briefings

Develop high-impact presentations, executive briefings, and leadership communications for senior stakeholders

Prepare talking points, scripts, and supporting materials for executive engagements and program updates

Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and strategic alignment in messaging

Support executive communications for governance boards, steering committees, and leadership briefings

Produce communication materials across multiple formats including:

Executive presentations and leadership briefings

Program newsletters and updates

SharePoint and internal web content

Infographics, one-pagers, and fact sheets

Change management and training communications

Ensure all communication products align with branding standards and accessibility requirements (Section 508)

Stakeholder Engagement & Program Coordination

Partner with PMO teams, revenue cycle SMEs, and technical teams to gather accurate project information

Coordinate communication activities across workstreams to ensure consistent messaging and program visibility

Support stakeholder communications related to major releases, milestones, and transformation initiatives

Communication Governance & Reporting

Maintain communication calendars, distribution lists, and publication schedules

Develop templates, communication standards, and style guides for program communications

Track engagement metrics and refine communication strategies to improve reach and effectiveness

Change Management Support

Develop communications supporting system updates, workflow changes, and new capabilities

Collaborate with training and operations teams to support adoption of new processes and technologies

Required Skills/Education

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Affairs, Marketing, Business, Public Administration, or related field

Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, consulting, communications, or PMO support environments

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts

Proven experience developing executive-level presentations and leadership communication materials

Experience creating multi-format communication products including digital, visual, and written content

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly

PowerPoint , as well as SharePoint and collaboration platforms

Experience with graphic design tools such as

Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar

Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to collaborate across technical, operational, and leadership teams

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced program environment

Must be a

U.S. Citizen

and able to obtain a

Public Trust clearance

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting

federal programs, DoD organizations, or large government modernization initiatives

Familiarity with

healthcare revenue cycle operations

including registration, coding, billing, and reimbursement

Experience communicating about

EHR implementations such as MHS GENESIS or Oracle Health

Experience supporting enterprise

IT modernization or digital transformation programs

PMP or CAPM certification
