Job Summary This position is responsible for developing and overseeing all brand representation and communication for The Arena Club including marketing collateral, member communication, public relations, community events, website, and social media for Arena Club and its subsidiaries (Pickle Factory & Arena Weight Loss) with a strong focus on revenue growth and lead generation. The ideal candidate for this position will be a motivated, self-starter with strong organizational skills and an acute attention to detail. Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Job Responsibilities
Drive Club Sales along with Sales team and team to achieve budgeted monthly goals.
Collaborate with department managers and directors to develop and execute strategic marketing plans which focus on increasing program attendance and club membership, helping to ensure KPIs are met.
Analyze consumer insights and translate into meaningful brand positioning and messaging strategy.
Develop content and produce graphic art for print and digital marketing collateral including club brochures, advertisements, direct mail, flyers, signs, digital displays, marquee etc.
Write content for press releases, radio commercials, promotional emails, text campaigns, member newsletter, club policies, and official club communication.
Develop engaging content for social media accounts including filming, editing, and distribution of video, static, and other creative content.
Drive and analyze performance of all paid marketing campaigns, adjusting strategy as needed based on performance metrics and data.
Create relationships with media partners, negotiate and manage media placement for the organization.
Seek opportunities and coordinate club participation in outside community events.
Foster relationships with community organizations such as The Harford County Chamber of Commerce, The Bel Air Downtown Alliance, Upper Chesapeake Health Foundation, and Healthy Harford.
Manage and develop content and landing pages for club website, with a focus on lead generation and conversion.
Play an integral role in launching and implementing new club technology and software and provide support to staff in learning technologies. (MyZone, Perkville, GymSales).
Plan and coordinate internal club retention and community charity events.
Identify and develop opportunities for improving the Arena Club member experience.
Set Up and attend Club events on site and off
Oversee the marketing department and staff
Manage marketing budget and submit monthly P&L reports.
Update all club communication 24/7 via website, text and social media
Complete 2 MOD shifts per month
Skills
Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Proficiency in Hubspot and HTML
Strong print and digital media design skills
Strong writing and grammar skills
Creative and innovative
Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
A plus:
Experience managing social media avenues including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube
Familiarity with Adobe Premier Pro or other video editing software
Photography/videography experience
Knowledge of Wordpress
Experience with Google Adwords and/or Analytics
Status Full Time; 40 Hours Per Week (weekends and outside events as needed)
