Primary Job Duties
IT Senior Business Analyst plays a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of software applications to improve the business processes at SkyWest. Specific job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Review and document business processes to identify inefficiencies
Oversee large software development projects
Mentor IT Business Analysts in project plans and documentation
Work with business partners and software engineers to come up with software solutions
Review the adequacy of potential 3rd party application systems when applicable
Present software solutions for business partner approval
Assist software engineers during development and integration testing
Create testing and implementation plans
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5+ Years' experience as Business Analyst or Project Manager
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Microsoft Visio
Proficient in documenting business processes including flowcharts
Experience in implementing software changes to large user groups
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to present to business partners, vendors, and technical staff
Ability to multi-task and work under time pressures and project deadlines
Aviation experience preferred
Physical and Other Requirements
Sitting at a computer for extended periods of time.
