This position is responsible for federal, state, and local income tax returns, the associated reporting functions, as well as tax account analysis and reconciliations. Prepare/review federal, state and local income tax returns including related schedules, work papers, and reports;\nReview federal and state tax provisions on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, including related inputs, forecasting, support schedules, work papers, reports, and journal entries;\nCalculate/Review estimated tax payments for tax paying entities;\nResearch and respond to state tax notices and inquiries from taxing authorities;\nReview state apportionment for partnership and corporate entities\nReview monthly tax accruals for federal, state and foreign taxes;\nPerform/review tax account analysis and reconciliations;\nConduct research related to ongoing tax issues, law changes, and remain current on ASC 740;\nSupport external auditors and consultants;\nWork on other tasks and special projects as needed.\nRequirements:

Qualification\nEducation and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; a master's degree with a tax emphasis is preferred

CPA certification or candidacy is preferred

1-2 years of business tax experience, including internships.

Proficiency in Excel.

Experience using technology to maximize efficiency, minimize errors and take a new perspective on existing solutions is preferred.
