Position Summary

The Superintendent leads all on-site construction operations, ensuring field activities are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. This role manages daily subcontractor coordination, enforces safety practices, maintains the project schedule, and represents QUAD’s values on every jobsite. The Superintendent partners closely with the Project Director and Project Manager to ensure project success. Key Responsibilities

Field Leadership & Execution

– Lead all on-site activities with an unwavering focus on safety, quality, and productivity. Run daily planning and coordination with trades; conduct weekly foreman meetings. Identify challenges early and implement solutions proactively. Safety Management

– Enforce QUAD’s Safety & Health Program without exception. Conduct daily walks/JHAs, weekly safety talks, and subcontractor engagement. Ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations and site safety plans. Address unsafe conditions immediately and effectively. Schedule & Coordination

– Develop and manage the six-week lookahead schedule. Coordinate manpower, inspections, materials, and trade sequencing. Hold subcontractors accountable to commitments. Proactively communicate risks and mitigation strategies. Quality Control

– Enforce workmanship standards and project specifications. Perform frequent field checks to ensure correct, complete installation. Track deficiencies and ensure rapid, permanent resolution. Prevent rework through proactive oversight and planning. Communication & Documentation

– Submit thorough daily reports with production details and progress photos. Maintain accurate logs, safety documentation, and meeting records. Communicate effectively with clients, inspectors, subcontractors, and vendors. Collaborate with the PM on RFIs, submittals, and plan coordination. Leadership & Professionalism

– Uphold QUAD’s culture and values in all site interactions. Communicate clearly, professionally, and with accountability. Promote teamwork, mentorship, and continuous improvement within the field. Qualifications

5+ years of commercial construction superintendent or assistant superintendent experience Strong understanding of building systems and field coordination Ability to lead subcontractors and maintain safety and schedule expectations Proficiency in reading plans, specifications, and site logistics Experience with project management software OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills What We Offer
