The Century City Los Angeles office of McGuireWoods seeks a Mid-Level Associate to join its Real Estate Finance Practice Area, a part of the Public & Private Infrastructure & Real Estate Department. Our Affordable Housing Team counsels clients ranging from closely held, community-based businesses to Fortune 100 companies. We are experienced in all aspects of affordable and mixed income/mixed-use housing and community development matters and counsel clients on all sides of affordable housing transactions. Salary : $235,000 - $355,000 Qualifications

2-5 years commercial real estate finance experience in sophisticated law firm setting. The ideal candidate will have large firm commercial real estate experience representing lending institutions. Experience in affordable housing matters is a nice to have. Experience with agency financing transactions involving Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac is preferred. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with client, business, and legal teams. Must have a strong academic record, excellent writing, and oral communication skills. California Bar is required.
