Job Description Summary As a Leasing Consultant, you will play an important role with the onsite management team, working with a highly trained team geared to support your success. You will make a big impact through friendly welcomes, genuine interest in guests, and a positive first impression that encourages visits, prospects, and residents.

In this role you manage your own success by attaining leasing goals such as occupancy and rent growth while building rapport with prospects and residents.

Responsibilities

Generate interest in the community by touring prospects and answering questions about amenities, local community, and grounds.

Drive the sale by highlighting the quality of the community and the lifestyle of an apartment home.

Assist prospects in qualifying for an apartment by collecting necessary information and initiating background checks.

Ensure apartments are prepared for move‑in.

Deliver unmatched service to residents to exceed expectations and maintain retention.

Use attention to detail, planning, and organizing skills to perform required office activities and coordinate paperwork related to rentals.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Effective communication and customer service skills.

Basic computer skills in a Windows environment.

Assist the leasing activities of the leasing staff.

Be courteous, professional, well organized, and able to meet deadlines.

Follow all company policies and procedures.

Professional and a team player.

Education: High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school.

Experience: 1+ years of related experience.

Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment, routinely using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The role requires regular travel between properties in varying weather conditions.

Physical Demands Stand and walk for extended periods, ascend/descend staircases, ladders, or step stools, and may travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather. Mostly sit or stand for 85% of the time. Travel may require up to 5% of the time.

Benefits and Compensation Cushman & Wakefield offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, dental, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid and unpaid time off. Compensation for this role is $17.00 - $20.00 per hour, with potential variability based on location, market rates, experience, and collective bargaining agreements. The company will not pay less than minimum wage.
