Job Details We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Engineer to join our reputable manufacturing company. The Sales Engineer will be a key player in driving our business growth by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background with a deep understanding of thermal rating, ASME Code Knowledge, and ASME Code Design. The candidate will be responsible for providing technical solutions to customers, managing relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment with a significant amount of responsibility and autonomy.
Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities by leveraging your technical expertise and understanding of the manufacturing industry.
Provide technical solutions to customers, understanding their needs and challenges, and proposing tailored solutions that meet their objectives.
Maintain relationships with existing clients and build relationships with potential clients by providing exceptional customer service and technical support.
Collaborate with the engineering team to design and develop products that meet customer requirements.
Understand and apply ASME codes and standards in the design and manufacturing process.
Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to clients, showcasing the value and benefits of our products and services.
Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to represent the company and stay updated on industry trends and developments.
Prepare and submit detailed proposals and sales contracts, ensuring they meet company guidelines and customer specifications.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products and services.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer in the manufacturing industry.
Extensive knowledge of ASME codes and standards.
Proficient in thermal rating and ASME Code Design.
Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical and innovative solutions.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and interact effectively with clients and team members.
Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
Highly motivated, with a strong desire to succeed and drive business growth.
Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
