The Senior Pricing Analyst is a member of the Strategic Pricing Team within our Higher Education Finance organization. It is a high-level professional responsible for optimizing pricing strategies to maximize revenue, profit margin and market share. Responsibilities
Collect, sort and analyze large datasets using advance querying and analytical tools Design dynamic and sustainable pricing frameworks that incorporate customer attributes, product attributes, sales and market data Develop discounting guardrails to ensure margins are optimized Develop pricing recommendations for new products, segments and offers. Develop pricing recommendations for Deal Desk requests while balancing profitability, revenue growth and customer requirements Recommend strategy to address price erosion Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Track the impact of price and volume changes on revenue Monitor key performance metrics like price realization, margin growth and price erosion over time Monitor competitor pricing and identify performance gaps through competitive intelligence Execution
Lead the execution of annual pricing reviews Execute discount and price change requests in internal systems Work with the technology and data teams to design requirements and test functionality of pricing and reporting tools Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Marketing and other pricing stakeholders to develop and review price Leadership and Continuous Improvement
Continuously find ways to improve pricing process, systems, models and reporting Communicate results and findings to stakeholders and leaders Job Requirements
Level of Experience – 3 to 5 years Bachelor’s degree in data science, Mathematics, Econometrics, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science or related discipline Programming experience including SQL, Alteryx, Stata, R or similar Advanced Microsoft Excel financial modeling skills Experience handling large data sets Self-driven and fast learner with intellectual curiosity and ability to work independently Excellent communication skills and experience working in cross-functional groups Master's Degree, preferred
