About the job This is a full-time, hybrid Advertising Assistant role located in the New York City Metropolitan Area.

Responsibilities

The Advertising Assistant will report to the SVP, Wine Spectator and will be responsible for supporting the sales team by managing advertising materials, assisting with marketing campaigns and decks, maintaining accurate records, scheduling appointments, and managing emails and phone calls.

Prepare and ship business materials / magazines to wine events for the SVP.

Maintain a calendar of meetings, events, and travel and coordinate with cross-functional teams as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum 1-2 years of business experience

Marketing or advertising background appreciated

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Able to assist with presentation decks

Strong attention to detail

Strong organizational skills to keep track of daily tasks such as upcoming meetings, proposals/contracts to draft, etc.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Maintain / update a clear calendar of the SVP's client meetings, business trips, and work events

Proficient in Google Workspace

Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Good interpersonal skills

Carry out research on potential new clients (region, type of wine, price range, etc.)
