Base Salary: USD 57,000 – 80,000
Uncapped commission structure based on performance
10% commission on new business generated
4% commission on revenue growth from assigned accounts

About the Role We are seeking a driven and results‑oriented Business Development Manager to join a growing organization in the staffing and talent solutions industry. This role is ideal for a highly motivated sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building relationships, generating new business, and expanding client partnerships.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, and strengthening relationships with both prospective and existing clients. This position requires strong communication skills, resilience, and the ability to consistently pursue new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and target potential clients that could benefit from staffing and workforce solutions
Conduct outbound calls and schedule in-person meetings with prospects and existing customers
Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals
Develop and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and community organizations
Promote services by understanding market trends, competitor activity, and client requirements
Expand business opportunities within existing accounts
Perform regular service reviews and ensure contract compliance
Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and keep documentation updated
Demonstrate persistence, professionalism, and a strong work ethic while pursuing sales goals
Key Performance Metrics
75 outbound calls per week
50 field activities per week (client visits, drop‑ins, meetings)
3 prospect meetings per week during the first 6 months
5 prospect meetings per week after 6 months (at least 2 scheduled in advance)
Visit each existing client at least once per month
Close 2 new accounts per month
Requirements
Must be a US Citizen or authorized to work in the United States
Proven sales experience, preferably within staffing or recruitment services
Demonstrated success managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
Strong ability to build and maintain professional relationships and community connections
Experience identifying opportunities to grow existing client accounts
Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
Competitive mindset with a strong drive for results
Resilience and persistence when facing rejection
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in the staffing or recruitment industry
Background in fast-paced customer-facing sales roles
Experience in industries such as insurance sales, membership sales, or high-volume sales environments
