DESCRIPTION

The Social Media Manager role oversees execution across Blink's owned organic social media channels, leveraging AI-powered tools and data-driven insights to optimize content creation, publishing, and performance. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, using emerging technologies to scale community engagement, automate workflows, and deliver measurable business impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES Social Channel Development & Execution:

Lead day to day operations of organic social media channels

Identify and optimize platform-specific content strategies for maximum reach and engagement

Lead competitive analysis and trend monitoring across social landscape

Define and track KPIs for measuring social media effectiveness

Content Creation & Management:

Manage content calendar development, scheduling, and publishing across all platforms

Lead development of platform-specific organic content (text, image, video, stories)

Support content development and strategy for social commerce channels, including TikTok Lives and TikTok Shop, in partnership with sales teams

Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all content

Support external vendor content creation and planning

Drive creative innovation and best practices across platforms

Community Engagement:

Develop and execute comprehensive community management strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook

Lead day-to-day community engagement leveraging AI-powered response suggestions and sentiment monitoring

Identify and create engagement opportunities through proactive community outreach

Build and maintain relationships with key community members and brand advocates

Monitor and optimize community health metrics and engagement rates

Analytics & Performance Optimization:

Develop and maintain reporting frameworks, enhancing and iterating with AI

Monitor and analyze organic social media performance metrics

Provide actionable insights and optimization recommendations

Use AI-powered social listening tools to track brand sentiment and conversations

Present strategic findings and recommendations to leadership

Cross-Functional Leadership:

Partner with marketing teams (paid media, PR, brand, product) to support integrated campaigns and sales

Collaborate with sales and customer service for social support initiatives

Guide content strategy across teams and channels

Mentor team members on social best practices and execution

Drive alignment across stakeholders and workstreams

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 4+ years of marketing experience

Experience using data and metrics to drive actionable insights at scale

Experience coordinating cross-functional inputs, meeting deadlines, and effectively managing competing priorities

Proven track record of growing social channels and driving measurable business outcomes

Experience with or strong interest in leveraging AI tools for content creation, analytics, and workflow automation

Experience with social media management platforms, analytics tools, and AI-powered marketing technologies

Strong understanding of platform algorithms, trend spotting, content optimization, and community building

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Track record of process innovation and efficiency improvements through technology adoption

Familiarity with generative AI platforms for marketing applications

Background in A/B testing and performance experimentation

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
