RESPONSIBILITIES Kforce has a client in Redmond, WA that is seeking a Product Designer - Mobile Design Systems.

Summary This contract role supports the mobile extension of an existing visual design (design system) refresh across a collaboration suite of products similar to Teams, Planner, OneDrive, and SharePoint. While the prior phase focused on desktop, this engagement centers on executing high-fidelity mobile design that applies and extends the established visual language across a broad, integrated product portfolio. The role sits within a central design organization supporting multiple product teams and is execution-focused, milestone-driven, and will have close collaboration across systems design, senior design, and engineering partners.

Key Responsibilities

Execute mobile design work aligned to an existing visual refresh and design system

Take established visual language from the visual team and apply it to the design system for mobile surfaces

Support all product teams within the larger organization

Deliver design outputs tied to milestones

Collaborate with systems designers and engineers during working sessions

Participate in sprint planning, mid-week check-ins, and end-of-week retros

Contribute to optional design jam sessions for troubleshooting, swarming on issues, and live collaboration

Work heads‑down on methodical, focused design execution most of the time

REQUIREMENTS

4-6 years of experience in product design- focused on design systems

Strong mobile design skills; experience extending or applying existing design systems to mobile

Proficiency in Figma, including tooling and workflow management

Experience working in agency or enterprise environments

Familiarity with design system workflows; ability to translate a visual design language into system components

Portfolio demonstrating 2+ relevant projects with clear execution and process - mobile design system‑based projects

Preferred

Experience with toolkit and component‑level design system work

Background in supporting multiple product teams from a centralized design org

Comfort working in structured sprint cadences with defined deliverables

Compensation and Benefits The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
