The
Field Marketing Coordinator
provides administrative and operational support for the field marketing team. This role is responsible for coordinating logistics, scheduling, documentation, and communication to ensure events, retail partnerships, and field activations run smoothly. The coordinator acts as the central support hub for the team in the field, handling the behind-the-scenes details that allow field representatives to focus on customer engagement and lead generation. This role regularly interfaces with retail partners, event vendors, field marketing reps, sales consultants, marketing leadership, and production teams. This is a highly organized, fast-paced support role ideal for someone who thrives on logistics, communication, and keeping moving parts aligned.
Key Responsibilities Event & Show Coordination
Assist with scheduling and tracking home shows, retail events, and promotional activations
Maintain the master event calendar and ensure all deadlines are met
Coordinate booth logistics including materials, shipping, signage, and inventory
Prepare event packets and documentation for field teams
Confirm venue requirements, permits, and vendor needs as directed
Track event performance data and compile reports
Administrative Support
Serve as administrative support for field marketing team
Process paperwork, contracts, and internal approvals
Maintain organized digital records and event files
Order supplies and promotional materials
Monitor inventory of event equipment and marketing assets
Communication & Coordination
Act as liaison between office staff, field teams, and vendors
Send event confirmations and reminders to field personnel
Support onboarding & offboarding of new field representatives with materials and logistics
Respond to internal requests related to events and retail operations
Help ensure brand standards and operational consistency
Reporting & Tracking
Maintain spreadsheets and databases related to events and retail partnerships
Track budgets, invoices, and vendor payments
Compile weekly or monthly activity summaries
Assist leadership with ad hoc reporting and analysis
Requirements
2+ years administrative, coordination, or operations experience
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication
Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Professional and customer-focused demeanor
Experience in events, marketing, retail, or home improvement is a plus
Working Conditions
Primarily office-based role supporting field teams
This role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends based on event and retail schedules, typically 2–4 weekends per month during peak season (March–October).
Minimal travel may be required
Ability to lift and carry 25–40 lbs. (event signage, booth materials, collateral)
Extended standing (4–8 hours) during event setup, execution, and teardown
Occasional loading/unloading of vehicles and storage areas
