for Crop Science portfolios, you will develop and execute annual brand and go-to-market plans. You will partner with sales, product management, finance, agronomy, and business execution teams to deliver programs that enhance the customer experience, drive demand, and support profitable growth across priority crops and segments. This role directly contributes to the delivery of our Commercial Ambition, including the Farmer Experience and Aligned Partner strategy.## YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe primary responsibilities of this role, Marketing Manager, are to:* Build and refine annual brand and marketing plans aligned to business strategy and grower needs;* Develop and activate marketing programs, signature touchpoints, and events in partnership with marketing activation and customer-facing teams;* Support crop and product strategy inputs that enable achievement of financial targets;* Manage market funding and brand OPEX budgets; conduct ROI reviews and align investments to plan;* Translate insights into targeted tactics by customer segment; adjust based on performance;* Use market research and sales data to inform decisions and build business cases;* Collaborate with cross-functional partners (product management, product supply, agronomy, sales, IT, finance, program operations) for seamless execution;* Monitor KPIs and brand health; recommend optimizations throughout the cycle;* Prepare and present business reviews and marketing updates to leadership;* Embed Farmer Experience principles and partner strategy alignment into plans, programs, and field enablement.### Competencies:* Customer Experience & Grower Centricity: designs programs and touchpoints that elevate the grower experience and outcomes;* Strategic & Analytical Thinking: applies data and insights to plan, prioritize, and measure impact;* Commercial & Financial Acumen: aligns budgets and market funding to value creation; understands P&L drivers and ROI management;* Cross-Functional Leadership: aligns product, sales, agronomy, finance, and operations to execute plans;* Communication: presents plans, insights, and business reviews clearly to diverse audiences;* Planning & Execution Excellence: manages timelines, agencies, and events to deliver consistent results;* Innovation & Problem Solving: tests, learns, and optimizes tactics based on KPI performance;* Partner Strategy Enablement: integrates aligned partner strategy into plans and field execution.## WHO YOU AREBayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:### Required Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Agriculture/Agronomy, or related field;* Demonstrated financial acumen with experience in budget management, ROI analysis, and investment trade-offs;* Understanding of core P&L drivers; strong strategic and analytical skills;* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver with attention to detail;* Data-driven mindset with experience building recommendations and ROI cases;* Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority; strong collaboration skills;* Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.**Preferred Qualifications:*** 5-7+ years in marketing, sales, agronomy, or product management within agriculture or adjacent industries.This posting will be available for application until at least March 27, 2026.Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $117120.00 - 175680.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Other benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. If selected for this role, the offer may vary based on market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.|
