Key Responsibilities May Include: Build and maintain senior-level relationships within retail organizations, positioning CHEP as a trusted partner and ensuring full recognition of its value proposition. Lead the development and execution of comprehensive account strategies, including joint business plans tailored to meet the specific needs and growth opportunities of each retail partner. Identify and capitalize on opportunities to improve customer supply chain performance, leveraging CHEP’s solutions to drive operational efficiency, sustainability, and cost reduction. Monitor and analyze key performance metrics such as customer satisfaction, profitability, asset productivity, and service levels, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of account performance. Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams (operations, finance, logistics, and customer service) to ensure seamless service delivery and successful execution of strategic initiatives. Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams and field-based representatives, ensuring alignment with strategic account objectives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Act as the primary escalation point for complex customer challenges, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction. Drive continuous improvement efforts by identifying and implementing process enhancements that contribute to improved customer experiences and operational outcomes. Position Purpose Develop a Strategic Account plan for all Key Accounts in the portfolio Manage and control the Strategic Account action plan Identify future trends in major retailer group supply chains and ensure all actions are in alignment with the CHEP strategy Manage the Key Accounts at Local/Regional levels. This includes the following: Business Growth Contract negotiation and management KPI Management Profitability of the account Develop, manage and execute Joint Business Plans Increase customer satisfaction and customer value added benefits Ensure excellent relationships at major retailers with Senior and Top Management of Logistics, Sales, Buying, Marketing, Category Management and Supply Chain functions and increase customer satisfaction and customer value added benefits Managing a field based team for ensuring best practise in sales, asset control and recovery at Retail Customers to ensure high level of pool efficiency and profitability of the business as well as new business through retailers (pull, advocacy, etc.). Drive the companies strategic projects at a Local/Regional level ** YOUR MISSION ** – WHAT WILL YOU DO? ** Contract Management Responsible for negotiating the renewal or changes to the contract Responsible for managing the contract agreements Communication of Contract changes/agreements to applicable departments Responsible for ensuring correct incentive calculations and payments Manage Audit programs Ensure audit- completion at assigned retail groups Responsible for the finalizing the write off/write on numbers for the Portfolio Preparation of the Audits and managing the approval process ensure conclusively documentation of audit results initiate execution of action plans to minimize losses New business opportunities and internal representation Develop commercial service models in support of specific opportunities from E-side Initiate FSE-support in identification of Sales opportunities Participate in new business projects and internal meetings within CHEP in order to represent retail field teams in all topics internally Drive and implement the relevant strategic priorities Understand the strategic projects and the value these can deliver to the customer Implement, manage and measure the strategic projects People Management – Field Services Team Coach and Develop each team member, ensuring Individual Development Plans are in place and regularly reviewed Identify training needs and skills to develop each team member Initiate and run accompaniment and coaching-programs for FSE, with regular support, showing best practices and accompanying direct reports in day-to-day visits, strategic account planning and internal/external meetings Ensure internal information transfer Initiate projects with regard of optimizing internal processes Regularly monitor and improve FSE performance ** WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR **
: Experience in a Key Account Management or similar Sales Positions Negotiation skills Experience with building relationships and networks at a manager level Commercial understanding and business acumen Good Communication skills Ability to work cross functionally Negotiating skills Data affinity Good Knowledge in MS Office Developing direct reports and others Motivating people Customer focus University degree in Business Studies or equiv.
