Overview
On behalf of one of our international clients, manufacturer of automated packaging machinery and end-of-line integrated systems, we are seeking a Regional Sales Manager – Food, Dairy & Beverage. This role focuses on developing and growing sales within the food, dairy, and beverage industries, specifically targeting manufacturers utilizing flexible packaging formats. Main tasks and responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow market share within the food, dairy, and beverage sectors. Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities with manufacturers utilizing flexible packaging solutions. Manage the full capital equipment sales cycle, from initial contact and needs analysis to proposal development, negotiation, and closing. Conduct on-site customer visits, product presentations, and technical sales discussions to demonstrate the value of automated secondary packaging and end-of-line systems. Collaborate with internal engineering, applications, and project management teams to develop customized solutions and proposals that meet customer requirements. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, industry partners, and key stakeholders. Represent the company at industry trade shows, customer events, and professional networking opportunities. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts in Salesforce CRM. Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to support product development and strategic planning. Travel extensively within the assigned territory to support sales activities and strengthen customer relationships (approximately 75%). Candidate profile
5+ years of experience selling capital equipment into the food, dairy, or beverage industries. Strong understanding of flexible packaging formats and automated secondary packaging or end-of-line equipment. Proven track record of managing complex sales cycles and closing high-value capital equipment deals. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong business development mindset with a “hunter” approach to identify new opportunities. Highly self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills in a remote work environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Experience using Salesforce CRM or similar customer relationship management tools is preferred.
