Company Description:


Hot & Cold Supply is a Small-Business Manufacturer and Distributor in the Western Branch area of Chesapeake, Virginia. We serve commercial and industrial customers, with an emphasis on military end-users. We manufacture custom parts, temporary facilities, cable & hose assemblies, manifolds, industrial equipment & other products for the Department of Defense.


Processing Quote Requests:



  • Inputting Quote Request into CRM

  • Researching Products

  • Reaching out to vendors via phone & email for price, availability, relevant technical specs, and quote status

  • Calculating freight and logistics

  • Drafting a quote for customers in a Point of Sales system

  • Sending Quoting to Customers


Processing Orders:



  • Verifying previous quotes from vendors

  • Negotiating price, availability, and payment terms with vendors when appropriate

  • Drafting Purchase Order Packets for Purchasing

  • Tracking status of Purchase Orders

  • Providing email and phone communication to customers on status of their Orders

  • Setting up freight and logistics to customers

  • Ensuring timely and successful delivery of Orders to customers


Customer Service:



  • Explaining products, their applications, and specifications

  • Problem solving for customers in a thorough, rapid, and efficient manner

  • Maintaining customer relationships

  • Continually expanding knowledge of role, products, industry, and customers


Qualifications:



  • Bachelors Degree Preferred

  • Previous Sales experience Required

  • Previous experience with Government or DoD procurement preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be dependable, punctual, detail oriented, professional, display a good work ethic, and be a team player

  • Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office Suite, must have Moderate to Advanced Excel proficiency and be willing to demonstrate excel skills at time of interview

  • Previous experience with Point of Sales and CRM systems

  • Focused on self-education and capability growth in role

  • Understanding of government contract processes and FARS preferred
