Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Volunteer Grant Writer to help expand our impact by securing funding through community, foundation, and state-wide grants. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys research, storytelling, and making a meaningful difference through words.

Key Responsibilities

• • Research community, foundation, corporate, and state-wide grant opportunities aligned with our mission
  • Identify grant deadlines, eligibility requirements, and funding priorities
  • Write clear, compelling, and mission-driven grant proposals and narratives
  • Collaborate with our leadership team to gather program data, budgets, and impact stories
  • Track submissions, deadlines, and outcomes
  • Help build a sustainable grants calendar and funding strategy

Desired Qualifications

• • Experience with grant research and/or grant writing (volunteer or professional)
  • Strong writing, editing, and research skills
  • Ability to translate impact and mission into compelling narratives
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines
  • Passion for youth empowerment, mental health, education, or nonprofit work
  • Familiarity with Arizona grants
