Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Visual Merchandiser at Home Zone Furniture for the DFW Metroplex. The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for designing and executing compelling product displays, maintaining showroom standards, and ensuring that the visual presentation aligns with brand guidelines. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for interior design and retail aesthetics. Responsibilities Create in-store displays that are eye catching, visually appealing, and prompt guests attention. Plan and design store layouts with the flow of guest traffic in mind. Ensure items are easily accessible to guests. Build a professional relationship with store personnel. Work alongside the store general manager to ensure transfers are created for must floor items. Ensure the product on the floor adequately reflects the Master Line Up Request needed accessories, bedding, and wall art orders from your Buyer. Unbox and price new accessories, wall art, and floral shipments. Plan ahead and schedule warehouse assistance to complete your projects. Assigned stores should be frequented at least once a week or more based on workload. Work should be completed in a timely manner. Maintain weekly time clock report by utilizing our app system. Reach out to your Director in the event that you need assistance to complete a project. Remember that your teammates are here to help and assist you. All wall treatments (ex: molding, wallpaper, etc.) should be approved through the Director before proceeding Act within the guidelines of the company’s policies and procedures. Qualifications Strong Communication skills for collaboration and interaction with team members and customers Be able to handle tools needed to perform duties Ex: drills, nails, hammer, etc. Experience in retail merchandising to understand customer needs and optimize showroom layouts Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Creative mindset with a keen eye for interior design, colors, and space planning Ability to travel between assigned stores Home Zone Furniture is a drama free work place.
