Graphic Designer (Contract/Freelance) - Hybrid
We're looking for a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team on a contract/freelance basis. If you have a strong eye for design, a solid portfolio, and thrive in a flexible hybrid work environment, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do:
- Develop visual concepts, graphics, and layouts for digital and print materials.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver compelling, on-brand designs.
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently.
- Maintain brand consistency across all deliverables.
- 3-5 years of professional graphic design experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Figma.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Experience with both digital and print design preferred.
- Location: Hybrid - combination of remote and on-site work.
- Type: Contract/Freelance engagement.
- Level: Mid-level (3-5 years experience).
- To be considered for this position, all applicants must complete a working interview by designing an original logo for a cannabis brand
- called "916."
- This exercise gives us a look into your creative style and helps us gauge your understanding of the cannabis industry - its culture, audience, and visual language. There are no strict rules: we want to see how you think and what you bring to the table as a designer.
- A logo concept for "916" rooted in cannabis culture
- At least one primary logo variation and one alternate/secondary version
- A brief explanation (a few sentences) of your design choices and inspiration
- File formats: PDF and PNG (transparent background preferred)
