You will take core design concepts and break them down into functional variations across every screen size, ensuring that our financial tools remain intuitive and accessible for all users.
Key Responsibilities
- Component Crafting: Build out exhaustive variations of design components (buttons, forms, navigation, data tables) for desktop, tablet, and mobile breakpoints.
- Accessibility Implementation: Ensure every design iteration meets WCAG 2.1/2.2 standards, including focus states, high-contrast versions, and screen-reader-friendly layouts.
- Design System Maintenance: Work within our Figma library to maintain naming conventions and symbol consistency.
- Direct Collaboration: Partner daily with the Art Director to translate brand vision into functional UI specs.
- Documentation: Create clear handoff files for the engineering team, specifically keeping Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) constraints in mind.
- The Experience: You are likely an early-career designer or a recent grad with a portfolio that shows a deep understanding of grid systems, typography, and responsive logic.
- The Technicals: Expert-level proficiency in Figma. You should understand how to use Auto Layout and Components like a pro.
- The "Plus": If you have experience or familiarity with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) components, you're at the top of our list.
- The Mindset: You are meticulous. You care about the difference between a 16px and 20px margin, and you're excited to learn the nuances of the financial services industry.
