RCT is seeking an experienced UI/UX Engineer to support high-visibility government applications focused on entitlement systems, identity and access management (IdAM/ICAM), authentication, authorization, and digital policy management. This role bridges design, development, and deployment, delivering secure, accessible, and high-performance web experiences for both administrators and end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins
- Build accessible, user-centered front-end and back-end solutions
- Optimize website performance, databases, and server integrations
- Conduct performance testing, QA, and ongoing monitoring
- Collaborate in an agile, cross-functional environment
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve UX/UI continuously
Required Qualifications
- BS degree with 8-12 years of relevant experience
- TS/SCI with polygraph
- Strong knowledge of usability and accessibility across devices
- Front-end: HTML5, CSS/SASS, JavaScript
- Back-end: PHP, MySQL, WP REST API, JSON
- Experience developing custom WordPress features, plugins, unit tests, and accessibility-compliant solutions
