About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of redefining health education delivery in high schools. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a strong connection to the local philanthropic community, particularly in South Florida. This role is pivotal in ensuring the organization's health, sustainability, and continued impact. The Executive Director will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of a multi-year strategic plan, aligning departmental strategies with the company's mission, and fostering a strong, mission-driven internal culture. Additionally, the role involves spearheading a comprehensive fundraising strategy, including major gifts, institutional giving, and government grants, with a proposed budget of $2.5 million.
Candidates for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a proven track record in executive nonprofit leadership, with at least 5 years of experience in a national nonprofit organization. The role requires demonstrated success in fundraising across various streams and excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
