The Opportunity As the RCM Manager, you will bridge the gap between senior strategy and frontline execution. You will lead the charge in optimizing cash flow, minimizing bad debt, and leveraging proprietary analytics to achieve world-class financial results for acute and critical access healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership & Strategy Execute Vision:
Implement RCM strategies and visions provided by senior management to drive high-quality client results. Process Improvement:
Develop and deploy strategic internal process improvement plans (both tactical and long-term). Project Management:
Simultaneously oversee and control multiple client projects, ensuring all deliverables meet firm standards.
Team Management & Development
Talent Leadership:
Directly manage the hiring, motivation, evaluation, and coaching of RCM personnel. Training:
Standardize team performance through rigorous training according to internal and external compliance benchmarks. Performance Monitoring:
Track progress toward productivity and quality goals, providing real-time operational feedback.
Revenue Cycle Oversight
Full Lifecycle Management:
Oversee pre-registration/authorization, account resolution, denials management, and cash posting. Credentialing:
Manage provider credentialing and payer enrollment for physicians, APPs, and clinics. Liaison & Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and vendors regarding contract oversight and issue resolution.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
7+ years of experience in
RCM Accounts Receivable (AR) Management
within acute/critical access environments or vendor settings (EBO projects). Leadership:
Minimum of 3+ years in a people management role and 2+ years of project management experience. Systems Expertise:
Deep proficiency in
Oracle Cerner, Epic , or other major EHR systems. Sector Knowledge:
Proven experience in Clinics, Rural Health Clinics (RHC), Physician groups, and Critical Access settings. Payer Knowledge:
Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payers, and third-party communications. Technical Skills:
Competence in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and advanced reporting tools. Education:
Bachelors degree in a relevant field (exceptional experience exceeding other requirements may be considered in lieu of a degree).
Preferred Qualifications
Certification:
HFMA Advanced Certified Patient Accounts Representative ( ACPAR ). Tools:
Experience with
Experian
(Contract Manager, Eligibility, Patient Access, etc.).
