Location This role requires associates to be in‑office 1‑2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity while providing flexibility to support productivity and work‑life balance. The Proposal Writer is responsible for leading and supporting the development of high‑quality, compliant, and compelling responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and related requests. How You Will Make An Impact Creates standard proposal responses leveraging the core content repository; develops written solutions using best practices, brand standards, innovative ideas, and reviewer insights. Aligns written communication efforts with overall company messaging, goals, and RFP requirements. Reviews RFP/RFI documents to identify key requirements and ensure responses align with submission guidelines and compliance standards. Partners with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and cross‑functional stakeholders to gather input and translate technical or operational information into client‑focused responses. Supports coordination of response timelines and incorporates reviewer feedback into final deliverables. Serves as a communications resource for business leaders and collaborates across various areas to support enterprise‑wide selling initiatives, including partnership with senior writers on more complex responses. Minimum Requirements Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of health‑care specific proposal writing experience; or any combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background. Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences Proposal experience at a Prescription Benefit Manager (PBM) Experience working with Responsive Proposal Software Experience interacting confidently with key stakeholders and comfortable with influencing decision‑making Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills with the proven ability to negotiate expectations between multiple parties Demonstrates strong organizational skills with the ability to meet aggressive submission deadlines Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously under tight deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook) Compensation For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $81,648 to $134,136. Locations: Illinois; Minnesota; New Jersey; New York.
