Speek helps companies communicate their brand through conversational media by building a content ecosystem around their brand story and message.
Think founder conversations, product discussions, case studies, team insights, and brand storytelling all captured in a structured session or film and then turned into 20+ pieces of content across multiple platforms.
We’re looking for a serious editor who understands how to turn long-form conversations into compelling, high-performing content from master cut all the way to social highlights.
This is not basic cutting.
This role is about content extraction, storytelling, and platform-native editing.
What you’ll be working on:
Brand story videos
Thought leadership content
Short-form clips for LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, etc.
Ability to identify compelling moments inside conversations
Turning 60–90 minute recordings into multiple highlight clips
Clean pacing and storytelling structure
Motion graphics, text overlays, and engaging subtitle design
Understanding of social media pacing and viewer retention
Ability to organize content so it can be repurposed across multiple channels
Bonus Points:
Experience editing founder or tech content
Familiarity with brand storytelling
Experience working with marketing teams

We typically use a set of editing and collaboration tools to support our workflow.
This will begin as contract work, but we’re actively building our editorial team and expect this role to grow quickly into a consistent or full-time position for the right person.
We’re based in the San Francisco Bay Area but this role can be remote.
