Agency Overview Job Description Groundskeeper 1, Intermittent
What you will do:
Performs routine non-skilled grounds maintenance duties (e.g., mows, trims & edges lawns; applies mulch, weeds & waters lawns & flower beds; trims & prunes shrubs & trees; cleans grounds, sidewalks & parking lots by removing papers & debris & operating vacuum sweeper/power washer) at district office & rest areas.
Fertilizes lawns, trees & shrubs; plants trees, shrubs & other plants; seeds & sods lawns.
Picks up & dump garbage/recycle containers.
Cleans, repairs, & paints picnic tables, trash containers, & other outdoor related minor structures.
Maintains & completes a daily log & work record.
Performs general custodial & maintenance duties.
