About this role The USGA is offering a full-time, paid internship to highly motivated and committed designer wishing to build upon their college education with practical professional creative experience in the fast-paced, results-driven world of the golf.

This position is responsible for assisting in the creation of graphics and creative that will be posted across all organization platforms as well as various digital and print assets. The Graphic Design Intern will work on projects from across the organization and is expected to work with the entire team on an as-needed basis on other creative and design deliverables.

The internship would begin early Spring of 2026 and is up to a yearlong. This position is based in Liberty Corner, NJ.

What you'll do

Assist in the design of digital and print ads and OOH for marketing campaigns

Resize and version existing creative across platforms

Design social media graphics and support Digital Designer at championships (some travel may be required)

Support design of assets for organization (signage, stationery, etc.)

Help maintain digital asset management system

Create promotional materials (flyers, posters, signage, credentials, credentials)

Help prepare final files for production (print or digital)

Design PPT presentations

Assist in project management

What you bring

Proficiency in Adobe CS (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)

Ability to effectively translate and evolve creative from an existing style guide

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Excellent oral/written communication and organizational skills

Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of projects

Strong professional demeanor

The ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization

Available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, there is potential for extended evening, weekend work hours for USGA Championships (onsite and remote); may have to work occasional holidays

Must be able to provide your own housing and transportation in the New Jersey area

Pay $17.00/hr + overtime

Experience & Education

Completed bachelor's or graduate degree, preferably in Graphic Design/Visual Communications

Experience with Mac and digital photography

Experience in the sports industry is preferred
