A growing organization is looking for an Account Manager to support clients and assist with insurance operations. This role focuses on helping clients with their insurance policies, processing applications, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in an insurance brokerage environment who enjoys working with clients and managing policy details.
Key Responsibilities Customer Support
Respond to client questions by phone or email regarding insurance policies, coverage, and claims.
Help clients with policy applications, renewals, and updates.
Client Relationship Management
Build strong relationships with clients and provide ongoing support.
Assist clients throughout the entire policy lifecycle, from initial inquiries to renewals.
Claims Assistance
Review insurance claims and ensure required documentation is complete.
Work with adjusters and internal teams to help resolve claims.
Policy Administration
Maintain accurate records of insurance policies, changes, and endorsements.
Prepare and distribute policy documents and certificates of insurance.
Application Processing
Help client’s complete insurance applications and collect required documents.
Review forms for accuracy and submit applications to insurance carriers.
Data & Reporting
Enter and update client and policy information in the company system.
Assist with reports and data tracking when needed.
Compliance & Quality
Ensure all work follows company procedures and insurance regulations.
Review records regularly to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Team Support
Work closely with underwriters, agents, and other insurance professionals to support policy processing and client service.
Qualifications Education
High school diploma required
Associate’s degree or degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field is a plus
Experience
3–5 years of experience working in an insurance brokerage or agency
Experience supporting clients throughout the insurance policy lifecycle
Comfortable handling a high volume of client calls
Preferred Experience
Experience working with insurance carriers and wholesale brokers
Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance Producer License
Skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Experience using Google Workspace and Applied EPIC
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving skills
