The Salesforce UX Designer will shape the future of digital experiences across Salesforce platforms by blending strategic thinking with hands-on user research and design execution.
This role is responsible for guiding product direction through user insights, developing experience frameworks, and ensuring intuitive, efficient, user-centered solutions.
The designer will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, designers, and software engineers to align user needs, business priorities, and technical constraints. The position involves both strategic experience planning and detailed execution, including research, usability testing, and design guidance.
This role is well-suited for someone who is curious, confident in their craft, and comfortable working in evolving and ambiguous environments.
Key Responsibilities Conduct ongoing user research to inform Salesforce experience priorities and product direction.
Create and evolve personas, journey maps, and experience frameworks to support decision-making.
Contribute to experience roadmaps by connecting user insights with business and technical considerations.
Align stakeholders around experience goals and a clear vision for desired outcomes.
Plan and facilitate usability testing, design reviews, and feedback sessions for Salesforce workflows and digital tools.
Conduct qualitative and quantitative research and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations.
Identify experience challenges, uncover root causes, and propose user-centered solutions.
Support discovery activities and research efforts for both short-term enhancements and long-term strategy.
Translate research insights into usable artifacts such as process flows, maps, and design guidance.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs, constraints, and success metrics.
Collaborate with software engineers to ensure design intent is upheld in Salesforce implementations.
Serve as a connector between business, design, and development teams.
Present research findings and recommendations clearly and effectively.
Explore and pilot new tools and workflows, including AI-driven support for research and design.
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in UX, Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Strategy, Business, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
3+ years of experience in UX, digital strategy, product design, or human-centered research.
Strong foundation in Human-Centered Design principles, research methods, and experience synthesis.
Experience supporting both strategic planning and hands-on delivery.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, agile, delivery-focused environments.
At least 1 year of experience working with Salesforce UX or workflow design.
Proficiency with Figma for design collaboration and review.
Familiarity with Jira or similar tools, and experience working within sprint-based processes.
Working knowledge of AI-supported research or design tools and willingness to explore emerging methods.
Ability to work onsite from day one.
Preferred Qualifications Experience designing for Salesforce environments or complex workflow-based systems.
Experience using both qualitative and quantitative research methods in product environments.
Ability to develop experience frameworks that align user needs with business and technical objectives.
