User Experience Designer Location: Madison, WI Duration: 12 Months Hybrid position - 2 days per week onsite Travel may be required to customers but not confirmed (less than 10%) Pay: $55 - $60/hr, W2 Summary 12 Month Contract Hybrid position in Madison, WI - 2 days per week onsite Travel may be required to customers but not confirmed (less than 10%) Responsibilities Lead the design of user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes for complex projects. Plan and conduct comprehensive user research studies and usability tests. Synthesize research findings into actionable design recommendations. Uphold design systems and ensure consistency across products. Mentor junior team members and provide constructive feedback on their work. Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to align design goals with business objectives. Drive the iterative design process based on user feedback and usability testing. Stay up-to-date with the latest UX design trends and technologies. Present and defend design decisions based on user research and best practices. Ensure all design work adheres to accessibility standards and guidelines. Requirements 3 - 5 years experience designing for SaaS products Portfolio of recent work examples Proficient in Figma Proficient in FigJam, Miro, or other whiteboarding software Proficient in Jira issue creation Excellent written and verbal communication skills Required Skills Wireframing: Advanced skills in creating detailed and user-centered wireframes and user flows. User Research: Proficiency in planning, conducting, and analyzing comprehensive user research studies. Prototyping: Strong ability to create high-fidelity interactive prototypes. Usability Testing: Expertise in leading usability tests and deriving impactful design insights. Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to align cross-functional efforts. Presentation: Advanced skills in presenting design rationale and user research findings. Accessibility: Competence in designing accessible user experiences according to standards. Preferred Skills Designing pharmacy or medication-focused tools Creating tools that integrate with, or utilize data from, EHRs Experience with complex enterprise workflows that involve multiple actors across a variety of contexts Projects that involve unraveling complex information architecture and data structures to allow for simple and clear workflows Systems design case studies and projects #J-18808-Ljbffr
