What will you be doing? Redgate Software is looking for someone who is interested in starting a career in software sales. As an Inside Sales Rep you will be responsible for generating, managing, and closing new business opportunities (under $5,000), successfully aligning our software with customer needs and requirements. We look for someone who is eager to learn and pursue a career in sales in the B2B tech industry and will provide thorough onboarding, support and knowledge to help you succeed and progress.

Core Responsibilities

Conduct business professionally, through clear communication with potential customers, while maintaining the core values of Redgate

Maintain expert knowledge in Redgate’s four core solutions, competitive landscape, and target IT organizations

Help customers discover unmet needs and deliver value through product options, demos, and sales support

Partner with other sales functions to achieve mutually aligned quotas each month

Use a dynamic phone presence, email and social selling to engage prospects early in their decision‑making process

What experience are we seeking?

1+ year of sales or customer service experience

Strong desire to pursue a career in tech sales

Extraordinary written and oral communication skills

Team mentality and comfort with collaboration

Willingness to understand and go above and beyond for the team and customers

Ability to learn and apply sales methodologies to any opportunity

Ambitious and driven by continuous improvement

Good administrative skills with attention to detail

What would really help?

Experience in a phone‑based sales role

Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM

Proven ability to learn and understand technical information

Familiarity with Office 365, Salesforce, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and/or Zuora

Salary

The salary on offer for this role is $55,000-60,000
