What will you be doing? Step into a pivotal role partnering directly with Costco’s merchandising teams in Issaquah, WA to deliver strategic, insight‑driven guidance across their business. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with both retailer stakeholders and cross-functional Circana teams to transform complex, high‑volume data into clear, actionable recommendations. You’ll dive deep into retailer‑level performance, household purchasing behaviors, business reviews, and custom projects—advocating for the client’s needs while identifying new opportunities to grow our partnership.
We are looking for candidates with experience in Merchandising, Account or Category Management, or Analytics roles that involve POS‑based reporting and client‑facing insights delivery. If you are passionate about working with large datasets, crafting compelling stories with data, and building strong, trust‑based client relationships, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate ability to build trusted relationships with retailer, engage in a consultative manner when helping the retailer derive key strategic insights from various data types that Circana provides and become familiar with retailer opportunities – merchandising, marketing, assortment, supply chain, and competitive landscape.
Navigate complex, high‑volume data and evolving business priorities to generate clear, actionable insights to uncover root causes, evaluate implications, and guide the retailer toward well‑informed, strategic recommendations using coherent, convincing narratives (both verbally and in writing) and communicate them using data visualization accompanied by written commentary.
Act as a project manager by extracting briefs from client at various levels of seniority, managing scope of work, delivery timelines, and using client feedback to improve service and inform new ideas.
Create and maintain custom and recurring data reports using propriety tools, such as Unify, as well as Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Identify process improvement opportunities and best practice sharing.
Communicate, verbally and in writing, essential Circana service details and process information so that retailer stakeholders understand key capabilities and benefits.
Build productive, transparent partnerships across Circana functions and with retailer counterparts, ensuring consistent information sharing, inclusive problem‑solving, and alignment toward shared business goals
Provide client training and support initiatives on Circana platforms, tools, and data analysis.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights, account management, or client-facing related roles that demonstrate knowledge of analytic methods and solution development.
Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, marketing, or a related field required.
Proven ability to translate data and analysis into meaningful insights utilizing advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience in Java is preferred.
Strong organizational, project management, and prioritization skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills; keen attention to detail and flawless execution.
Creative problem solver with a passion for learning new technologies and change management, including getting to the “why” behind problems and solutions.
Ability to work collaboratively and independently, take initiative, and achieve goals.
Ability to travel as needed.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $65k to $80k.
