Summary
This role supports the creation of visually compelling editorial experiences within a major digital application marketplace. The Editorial Content Designer will help produce and manage key visual assets that enhance storytelling and app discovery. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, this role combines visual design, content strategy, and production to deliver engaging digital experiences for users.

4+ years of experience in
visual design, editorial design, or digital content design
Passion for
apps, games, and digital entertainment
with a strong foundation in
visual storytelling and user experience
Proficient in
Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator , with strong
graphic design, typography, and visual communication skills
Familiar with
digital content production, editorial workflows, and creative briefing processes
Skilled in collaborating with
creative teams, copy editors, project managers, business stakeholders, and external vendors
Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail
Experience working with
third‑party intellectual property or promotional content
and managing external artists, agencies, or vendors
Job Description In this role, you will
design and develop visual content that supports editorial storytelling and app discovery experiences within a digital platform .
You'll partner with
creative teams, editorial partners, project managers, and stakeholders
to produce high‑quality design deliverables. This includes
concept development, art direction, visual asset creation, and collaboration with copy editors to bring editorial stories to life .
You will also
create presentation materials, develop creative briefs for external partners, communicate technical design specifications, and oversee visual development from concept through implementation , supporting the
editorial and product design team's overall success .
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in
Web, Graphic, Information, or Communication Design
or equivalent practical experience
Background in
digital design, editorial content design, marketing design, or creative production
Experience creating
digital, social, or editorial design content
across a variety of visual formats
Portfolio demonstrating
strong visual storytelling and strategic design thinking

remote within 100 miles of Culver City
The pay for this W-2 position is
$69.57 per hour
This position may be eligible for benefits such as
PTO, health insurance, and 401(k)
depending on tenure and hours worked.
This position may be eligible for
PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
