Located steps from the Superdome and immersed in the vibrant pulse of downtown, our hotel hosts major conventions, corporate gatherings, social celebrations, and everything in between. What You’ll Do
Lead primary sales efforts for
Banquet Food & Beverage , including menu planning and agenda development
Conduct detailed event planning, from initial concept through on-site execution
Review contracts to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with client needs
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing guidance
before, during, and after
each event
Facilitate effective communication with all hotel departments to deliver seamless service
Host site tours and represent the hotel with professionalism and confidence
Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships
Participate in - and at times lead - internal event meetings and team collaborations
Partner closely with an assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff to ensure flawless operations

Qualifications
A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel event sales/event planning, completed Event Management trainee program or comparable experience preferred
Bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years of hotel and/or food & beverage experience preferred
Previous selling experience
Experience working and meeting a quota
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally & in writing, with public and other Team Members
Understanding of negotiation and interpretation of contracts
Have comprehensive knowledge of all operational departments within the hotel; guest services, reservations, housekeeping, audio visual, banquets, accounting, restaurants and engineering
Knowledge of meeting room set‑ups and capabilities, sleeping room configurations and types
