Summary
Seven Oaks Academy Montessori is a growing Montessori school committed to nurturing independence, curiosity, and confidence in young learners. Our school community is built on respect, teamwork, accountability, and joy in learning.
We are seeking a dedicated Montessori educator who is excited to lead both in the classroom and in the daily operations of the school. This role is designed for a professional who enjoys guiding children while also helping build a thriving educational community.
A MINIMUM of 3 years of Montessori experience is preferred and the minimum education requirement for a is a bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent PSC certification AND Montessori Certification.

The Montessori Center Director & Lead Guide serves as both a classroom leader and an operational partner in supporting the school’s daily functions. This position fulfills the licensed Center Director role while also leading either a Toddler or Primary Montessori classroom.
Classroom Leadership
Lead a Montessori Toddler or Primary classroom in alignment with Montessori philosophy and best practices
Prepare and maintain a beautiful, organized learning environment
Observe children and guide individualized learning experiences
Support independence, concentration, and respectful classroom culture
Maintain accurate documentation related to student development and licensing compliance
School Leadership and Administration
Serve as the licensed Center Director in accordance with Georgia DECAL regulations
Support enrollment conversations and tours with prospective families
Maintain clear communication with parents and staff
Assist with staff support and team coordination
Help ensure the school maintains compliance with licensing standards
Contribute to a positive school culture aligned with Seven Oaks Academy core values
Sample Daily Schedule
7:00 – 7:30 AM: Preparation time and daily team huddle
7:30 – 11:30 AM: Lead Guide classroom responsibilities
11:30 – 12:00 PM: Lunch break
12:00 – 1:00 PM: Administrative planning and leadership coordination
1:00 – 3:30 PM: Front office leadership responsibilities including family communication, enrollment conversations, staff support, and operational coordination

Requirements Qualifications Required
Montessori certification (Toddler or Primary) from an AMS, AMI, or MACTE-accredited program
Minimum 3 years Montessori classroom experience
Eligibility to serve as Center Director under Georgia DECAL licensing requirements
Strong leadership and communication skills
Commitment to Montessori philosophy and respectful classroom culture
Preferred
Prior leadership or administrative experience in a Montessori school
Experience mentoring assistants or supporting staff development
Experience engaging with families during admissions or enrollment conversations
Nice To Haves
Spanish speaker.
