National Oncology Sales Training Manager What You Will Do You will lead a team and manage the training curriculum for the Oncology Business Unit sales teams. The role includes leading a team of six Oncology Sales Training Managers, managing the New Hire / Onboarding and Advanced Training curriculum, and partnering with brands on their launches, semester meeting strategies, and regional initiatives. You will work closely with the National Sales Directors to ensure a proactive, strategic approach is in place for the brands so that the Business Unit meets its strategic objectives, and coordinate with Regional Sales Directors to align training business objectives. Additional responsibilities include collaboration with multiple brand team members, cross‑functional partners, and learning‑and‑performance peers to build and scale learning best practices, lead sales capability and portfolio pull‑through initiatives, and support resource generation and approval.

This is a US‑based field leadership position, reporting directly to the Director of Sales Training—Oncology Business Unit.

Basic Qualifications

Doctorate degree and 2 years of training experience, or training and sales and/or marketing experience

Master’s degree and 6 years of training experience, or training and sales and/or marketing experience

Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of training experience, or training and sales and/or marketing experience

Associate’s degree and 10 years of training experience, or training and sales and/or marketing experience

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of training experience, or training and sales and/or marketing experience

In addition to meeting at least one of the above requirements, you must have a minimum of two years’ experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation of resources. Your managerial experience may run concurrently with the required technical experience referenced above.

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of training, sales and/or marketing experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or medical device industries

Manage, coach and develop staff in L&P roles to deliver on the curriculum and develop future talent for the organization

Experience defining training goals and objectives with key internal clients, and establishing, communicating, and managing timelines and financial targets

Experience engaging with multiple partners to deliver results for multiple priorities

Experience working with sales team, regulatory, legal, compliance, vendor management as client or functional unit lead

Strong clinical competence to model and shape curriculum and staff

Demonstrated self‑starter, ability to work under limited supervision and coordinate multiple projects and teams in a detail‑oriented environment

Strong communication skills (coaching and selling skills)
