The Business Development Manager, Corporate & Wholesale will build relationships, servicing and solidifying partnerships with Key Accounts such as retail drug chains, buying groups, hospitals, distributors and Wholesale Accounts. The Opportunity Manage and grow Key Accounts
Attain monthly sales objectives and profit margins
Build and manage partnerships with accounts by responding to questions and concerns
Analyze and monitor performance
Review business analysis for each customer and product to identify trends
Update contracts, price agreements and discuss new opportunities
Attend tradeshows, pharmacy visits, participate in blitz’s, corporate meetings and conferences
Help customers build their business by suggesting new revenue sources and products
Generate New Business from Existing and New Customers
Maintain a high level of industry knowledge, stay up to date with market trends along with customer satisfaction
Obtain new business for Medisca, LP3 Network and Compounding Services
Generate leads through market research, conferences, referrals and cold calling
Initiate and follow up on marketing campaigns and advertising efforts
Build a strategic business plan for every existing customers
Build a strategic plan for prospecting and winning new customers
Develop and execute sales strategies and plans in order to achieve sales targets
Implement effective time management strategy to meet KPI’s
Work collaboratively with the territory team and internal departments
Collaborates with Medisca’s departments and select consultants to assist the community with support regarding regulatory issues that affect their business
Combine efforts with BDE/AE team leveraging Medisca’s value proposition in pharmacies
Lead and manage team
Conduct goal setting, performance assessments and reviews for your team
Drive accountability, set performance objectives, hold regular team meetings and communicate direction and changes, and train the team
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a Science related field
Four (4+) plus years experience in a sales role
Experience as a pharmacy technician, knowledge of compounding or representative in pharmaceutical industry
Proven abilities in discovering opportunities, developing strategies and closing sales
Effective organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
Proven professionalism and demonstrated leadership skills
Memorable, dynamic & animated
Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Teams and Excel) required
Knowledge of working with a CRM tool
Excellent communication skills; English (oral & written) required
