Job Summary The focus of the
Enterprise Sales Agent
is to give quotes, close leads, and retain relationships. This role also advises clients on the benefits of various policies as well as tailoring insurance packages to meet their specific needs.
The Enterprise Sales Agent works in an inside sales environment with both inbound and outbound calls. This position also tracks client data through Salesforce CRM system and engages with pre-qualified prospects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develops and maintains a pipeline of prospective clients through networking, referrals, cold calling, and lead generation activities.
Assess client needs and financial situations to recommend suitable insurance products and coverage options.
Explains policy features, benefits, and terms clearly to help clients make informed decisions.
Processes applications, renewals, and policy changes in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintains accurate client records and track all interactions using CRM or agency management systems.
Meets or exceeds monthly and annual sales targets and performance metrics.
Stays current on product offerings, underwriting guidelines, and industry regulations.
Provides ongoing customer service and support, assisting clients with claims and policy questions.
Collaborates with underwriters, adjusters, and other insurance professionals to ensure customer satisfaction.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
Property & Casualty Insurance License (Preferred) or passing the state licensing exam, once hired.
Experience
Proven experience in inside sales or the insurance industry, with expertise in the sales process and client management required
Functional/Technical Skills
Experience with managing customer relationships
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Problem-solving mentality
