The Role: The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the planning, development and implementation of marketing communications tactical campaigns, supporting the growth strategy of a vertical market within a specified geography for the Goulds Water Technology brand. In this role, the incumbent will also drive market-specific campaigns that build awareness and generate demand for Xylem’s products and services. The Marketing Coordinator will also collaborate with shared services department to leverage internal resources and manage relationships with external partners to successfully execute online and offline marketing communications campaigns. This also includes tradeshow support and execution as well as new product development projects. This role is based in Charlotte, NC with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office).

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for initiatives including communications content for new product introductions and launches, the treatment of the products brands within the segment, advertising and promotion to attract segment targets.

Manages communications messaging, positioning and content development initiatives by tightly aligning and collaborating with the Vertical Marketing and GC Communications team for program execution and deployment through online and offline marketing communications campaigns.

Responsible for planning and execution of tradeshows along with support from Product Marketing Manager.

Overseas consistent and effective content creation, sales enablement materials, customer messaging and digital campaign development that aligns with the growth objectives of the business.

Involved in planning for social media programs and strategy.

Xylem’s New Product Development process and supports and executes product marketing launch campaigns as needed.

Oversee the coordination with external agencies to support Goulds Water Technology programs and collaborate with internal groups like business development and product management to ensure successful program operations. Ensure consistency and continuity in presentation of the Xylem brand and the company’s product brands.

Education and Experience:

BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing or Communications

3-5 years relevant career experience

Water Industry, Pump product knowledge helpful

Strong communications skills

Software Programs: Microsoft Suite, Marketo, Stensul, Canva

The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000/yearly Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location.
