Addison Group is partnering with our client, a well-established organization in the infrastructure and construction services industry, to identify a Marketing Specialist to support their team during a maternity leave. This is a temporary opportunity within a collaborative marketing department where the selected candidate will contribute to digital marketing initiatives, brand consistency, and event coordination while working closely with business development leadership.
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Marketing Specialist to assist with day-to-day marketing operations. This role will support digital content management, social media initiatives, branding efforts, and marketing events. The ideal candidate enjoys balancing creative work with project coordination and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and organize the company’s marketing asset library including photos, videos, and project documentation
Plan, draft, and schedule social media content highlighting company projects, culture, and industry updates
Monitor engagement across social media channels and respond to comments and messages as appropriate
Assist with preparing branded materials such as presentations, proposals, and marketing documents
Support updates to website content and ensure information remains accurate and current
Maintain company listings across online directories and review platforms
Coordinate logistics for industry events, conferences, and tradeshows including promotional materials and giveaways
Track and manage inventory of printed marketing materials such as brochures, signage, and collateral
Help monitor marketing performance metrics including social media engagement and website activity
Qualifications:
1–3 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, or a related field
Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills
Experience managing or scheduling content across social media platforms
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Familiarity with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar programs preferred
Experience in construction, engineering, architecture, or commercial real estate industries is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
Portfolio or work samples strongly encouraged
Additional Details:
Assignment Duration: Approximately late March through mid-October

Team Size: Small marketing team (under 3 members)
Company Size: 500+ employees
Interview Process: Two steps (virtual interview followed by onsite interview)
Overtime: Possible with prior manager approval
