Responsibilities JOB PURPOSE:Directs the business and financial operations for all organ transplant and bridge to transplant programs, as well as for other programs in the transplant service line. Provides support to leadership in strategic planning and analysis, project facilitation, outreach and marketing, productivity, and operations improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees and manages the reporting and accuracy of transplant-related charges and direct expenses to optimize organ acquisition reimbursement while ensuring compliance with CMS guidelines.
Develops, operationalizes, and evaluates strategic initiatives.
Collaborates with department managers to develop appropriate workload standards and achieve desired productivity metrics.
Evaluates and manages business and financial operations, working to continuously improve efficiency and minimize waste.
Analyzes financial, volume, and market data.
Collaborates with managed care leaders to develop transplant-related contracts that optimize reimbursement.
Implements and manages billing and payment processes.
Qualifications Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Finance Required
Master’s degree in business or health related field Preferred
Work Experience
7 years experience in financial services or service line business operations Required
Prior experience with EPIC/Phoenix EHRs Preferred
Licenses and Certifications
None Required
