M102815**Job Description Summary**The attached Job profile is for the current Sr. Director that is resigning and will need to be tweaked to remove the Project Management responsibilities of the current role. The Director, Facilities, provides strategic, operational, and people leadership for all facilities maintenance activities across the organization. This role leads a team of Facility Maintenance Partners and a Lane Coordinator, provides direct supervision to the Manager, Field Support, and oversees the internal project team responsible for field execution, coordination, and support. The Director also manages a third‐party vendor responsible for FM ticketing, triage, vendor dispatch, SLA tracking, and work‐order performance. This leader ensures safe, compliant, well‐maintained facilities, predictable FM service delivery, and continuous improvement across preventive and reactive maintenance programs. The Director serves as the central point of accountability for FM strategy, vendor performance, work‐order execution, and alignment with operational leadership across the organization. In addition, this role manages maintenance capital expenditure (CapEx) projects under $250,000, ensuring clear scoping, cost control, compliance, and timely completion.## **Key Responsibilities**### **Strategic & Operational Leadership*** Provide strategic direction and operational oversight for all facilities maintenance activities across the organization.* Establish and enforce FM standards, procedures, and service expectations to ensure safe, compliant, and well‐maintained facilities.* Serve as the primary point of accountability for FM performance, ensuring alignment with organizational and operational needs.### **Team Leadership & Field Support Oversight*** Lead, mentor, and develop Facility Maintenance Partners, the Lane Coordinator, and the Manager, Field Support.* Oversee the internal field‐execution team, ensuring timely coordination of maintenance work, proper documentation, and consistent execution quality.* Ensure appropriate workload distribution, training, and performance management across the FM team.### **Vendor Management & Work‐Order Performance*** Oversee the third‐party FM vendor responsible for ticketing, triage, dispatch, SLA tracking, and work‐order performance.* Monitor and enforce vendor performance metrics to ensure predictable, high‐quality service delivery.* Support continuous improvement of workflows, communication expectations, and FM vendor accountability.### **Maintenance Operations & Facility Condition Oversight*** Ensure effective execution of preventive and reactive maintenance programs.* Monitor facility conditions and maintenance trends to identify risks, required interventions, and opportunities to improve service reliability.* Promote and enforce safety and compliance requirements across all FM activities.### **CapEx Project Management (Under $250K)*** Lead maintenance‐related CapEx projects under $250,000, including scoping, planning, vendor coordination, and execution oversight.* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and compliant with organizational standards.* Maintain documentation and support operational readiness for completed projects.## **Required Skills & Competencies*** Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing distributed teams and operational functions.* Deep knowledge of facilities maintenance operations, vendor management, and service delivery workflows.* Ability to interpret and enforce safety, compliance, and facilities standards.* Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows concurrently.* Skilled in vendor oversight, performance measurement, and service‐level accountability.* Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to partner effectively across Operations, Finance, and other stakeholders.* Strong problem‐solving abilities with a focus on action, clarity, and consistent execution.## **Preferred Qualifications*** Experience leading multi‐site facilities maintenance operations.* Background in vendor management and oversight of outsourced FM service providers.* Experience managing maintenance‐related capital projects.* Familiarity with CMMS systems, work‐order processes, and SLA frameworks.Mosaic Health is a national care delivery platform focused on expanding access to comprehensive primary care for consumers with coverage across Commercial, Individual Exchange, Medicare, and Medicaid health plans.
