Xirgo is seeking a dynamic and innovative Director of Product Management to lead our video telematics and cloud platform portfolio. The ideal candidate brings broad experience managing and scaling IoT products and platforms, including new product definition, business justification, customer engagement, and close collaboration with engineering teams. This leader will shape the strategy for both our video telematics solutions and our cloud ecosystem. Success requires deep knowledge of IoT architectures, data services, device‑to‑cloud workflows, telemetry ingestion, data modeling, and real‑time analytics. The Director will be passionate about solving real‑world problems that drive customer success. They will combine technical acumen, a strong innovation mindset, and exceptional communication skills to define and execute a forward‑looking product strategy. This role requires close collaboration and influence across Engineering, Program Management, Support, Operations, Sales, Field Applications Engineering, and Marketing. Role Responsibilities

Serve as the product leader for Xirgo’s video telematics portfolio and cloud platforms. Directly oversee the video telematics portfolio, including dashcams, multi‑camera systems and AI event capabilities, as well as Cloud services including API and platform. Lead the broader cloud platform and services team toward a unified long‑term vision, including an intelligent “single pane of glass” experience supported by a cohesive UI/UX strategy. Build and maintain a combined portfolio strategy that balances complex requirements and drives business success. Identify and evaluate strategic partnerships that enhance platform capabilities and expand the ecosystem. Product Lifecycle Ownership

Oversee the full product lifecycle for cloud services, including requirements development, prioritization, release planning, and performance measurement. Create and maintain Market Requirements Documents (MRDs), Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), business cases, pricing strategies, competitive analyses, user personas, segmentation models, and M&A assessments. Gather input from customers, sales, field engineering, support, and engineering to define new products, new features, bug fixes, and prioritization. Translate complex business needs, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations into clear technical requirements. Collaborate with technical teams to align market needs with technology capabilities and emerging trends to ensure future‑proof solutions. Manage Agile sprint planning, backlog grooming, and cross‑functional execution. Lead product launch activities in partnership with Marketing, including messaging, training materials, and collateral development. Act as the corporate subject matter expert for video telematics and cloud platform capabilities. Stay current on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive dynamics. Support trade shows, analyst briefings, RFP responses, demonstrations, and marketing campaigns. Serve as a liaison to Sales, Field Applications Engineering, and Support to ensure effective understanding, positioning, and support of all video telematics solutions. Roadmap & Market Expansion

Develop and maintain the video telematics roadmap across hardware, firmware, software, analytics, AI, and machine learning. Ensure alignment with adjacent product lines and the broader telematics market vision. Develop strategic plans to deepen penetration in existing markets and expand into new geographies and adjacencies. Lead voice of customer efforts to gather insights and validate product direction. Quality, Documentation & Operations

Work with QA and system test teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage across hardware, firmware, and software. Define requirements and guide the creation of product documentation, including user guides, release notes, and installation guides. Support field‑facing communication for design changes, software releases, and lifecycle updates. Partner with Program Management across all phases of the product lifecycle, including development, alpha, beta, and launch. Qualifications & Background

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Minimum of 10+ years of product management experience, including at least 5 years in IoT, cloud platforms, telematics, or related domains (fleet transportation ideal). Experience with IoT and imaging technologies (e.g., cellular, Bluetooth, cameras, optics), AI, and advanced analytics preferred. Demonstrated experience with VOC discovery, MRDs, PRDs, and Agile development methodologies. Proven experience leading cloud product strategy, including architecture, data services, and API ecosystems. Strong understanding of IoT device‑to‑cloud workflows, telemetry ingestion, data modeling, and real‑time analytics. Experience collaborating with engineering teams on cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure), microservices, and distributed systems. Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices for IoT and cloud systems. Strong financial acumen with experience developing business cases and conducting market analyses. Technically oriented with the ability to quickly learn device design details and complex software applications. Self‑starter with strong interpersonal skills and a drive for innovation. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively across functions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence). Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. Travel up to 20%. Salary Range: Base $165k to $185k, plus bonus plan participation
