Job Overview This integrator is seeking an Outside Business Development Representative to drive new business and build strategic relationships across the Fort Worth and surrounding DFW market. This person will focus on developing connections with builders, architects, interior designers, and homeowners in the high-end residential space.

This is a business development-focused role with a clear growth path into a full outside sales position. Initially, the right candidate will concentrate on opening doors, creating opportunities, and generating qualified leads, while working closely with the owner to develop system recommendations and close projects. Over time, this person will have the opportunity to learn the company’s solutions, proposal process, and sales cycle, with the goal of taking on more ownership of the full sales process.

Responsibilities

Prospect and develop new business opportunities in the high-end residential market

Build and maintain relationships with custom home builders, architects, interior designers, and homeowners

Identify and pursue project opportunities through networking, outreach, and field-based relationship development

Generate qualified leads and set appointments that convert into project opportunities

Collaborate closely with the owner to transition opportunities into system design, proposal creation, and closed business

Learn the company’s technology offerings and sales process over time

Support proposal development and client communication as part of the sales progression

Represent the company professionally in the field and help expand brand presence throughout the market

Maintain strong communication and follow-through across all stages of the business development process

Contribute to the long-term development of sales strategy and process as the company grows

Qualifications

Proven success in business development, outside sales, or relationship-driven sales

Experience working with builders, construction professionals, designers, or other adjacent industries is highly preferred

Residential AV or custom integration experience is helpful, but not required

Strong hunter mentality with the confidence to create opportunities and initiate new relationships

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Self-starter who can work independently and stay motivated without heavy oversight

Strong detail orientation and follow-through

Positive attitude, humility, and willingness to learn

Interest in technology and aptitude to learn residential systems and solutions over time

Ability to work collaboratively with ownership and technical staff in a small team environment
