Account Strategist
Pixel, San Francisco, CA, United States
Pixel is a boutique creative agency helping Fortune 500 brands test, launch, and market new products and campaigns across strategy, creative, production, and media.
About the Role This is an Account Manager role built for someone who loves systems. You're someone who is naturally organized and uses tools to run their life. You’ll support a mix of client accounts—owning day-to-day coordination and client communication—while also helping us level up how our client services team operates through better systems and practical AI.
You do
not
need formal “tooling” experience. You
do
need a track record of building personal systems: templates, checklists, automations, dashboards, clean task management, and strong follow-through.
Responsibilities
Coordinate projects across strategy, creative, production, and media: timelines, owners, deliverables, approvals
Turn client requests into clear briefs, tasks, and next steps
Lead meeting notes, action items, and decision tracking
Maintain predictable status updates and prevent surprises
Support scopes of work (SOW) and basic budget/timeline tracking
Create templates, checklists, and SOPs that make delivery faster and cleaner
Use Teamwork, Google Workspace, Slack, and AI tools to reduce manual work and errors
Build simple reporting for account health (status, risks, next actions)
Identify bottlenecks and implement fixes (intake, handoffs, QA, approvals)
Systems-minded:
you naturally organize chaos and tighten processes
Tool-curious:
you enjoy learning software and improving workflows
Reliable:
you close loops and don’t drop details
Calm under speed:
you can handle fast-moving creative work without spinning
Qualifications
0-4 years of relevant work experience at an agency or on a marketing team. Those with no work experience please mention relevant course work and clubs.
Comfort running your work through a task system (Google Suites/Teamwork/Notion/etc.)
Interest in AI for writing, synthesis, QA, and workflow support
Agency experience is a plus, not required
Pay range and compensation package
