Agribusiness in the Bay of Plenty has a solid reputation - In this role you’ll manage a portfolio of medium- large scale Agri customers, gaining exposure to customers with equine, dairy, dry stock, poultry and other agribusiness.
**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role:**You’ll partner with our clients to understand their banking needs and to provide the best products and solutions. The team you work with are based at the Tauranga BNZ Business Centre.* Be a trusted partner for clients by demonstrating an understanding of their business, objectives, challenges and opportunities while utilising commercial acumen to help them grow.* Monitor externally generated economic information to be able to keep abreast of the market and add value to communications with the client and advocate network, and to assist in the management of economic exposure.* Manage a portfolio of Agribusiness relationships in order to maintain and enhance customer satisfaction and credit risk profile consistent with BNZ Partners objectives.* Develop and maintain a relevant network of market advocates (key market players, professionals and intermediaries) who focus on medium enterprise businesses to develop advocacy for business referrals.You will be joining a supportive team of experienced Agribusiness, Commercial & Business Partners, allowing you to share knowledge, learn from others and continually grow and develop.It is a fast-paced environment, so if you enjoy being busy and you’re self-motivated, this might be the opportunity for you!This role requires someone that can relate to our customers - You may come from a farming or agribusiness background and have a solid understanding of the operational and financial principles that go with running an agribusiness, or you come from a banking background and have a passion for the industry.* A solid understanding of financial statements and business performance metrics and/or ability to learn this, is essential to support clients effectively.* You’ll have established networks across the Bay of Plenty region and can build our customer base, and you’re not afraid to get in front customers, discuss their challenges and present the best banking solutions for their business.**Nau Mai ki te Pēke o Aotearoa | Come to the Bank of New Zealand**This is an exciting opportunity to join us!
