R3321Blue Cross of Idaho (BCI) has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Director to support the development of the corporate strategy and drive essential changes in the organization. This role will play a key role in the shaping of our company’s future, oversee the cross-functional, organization-wide strategies and initiatives; bringing together multiple partners to help drive decisions and ensure alignment on the corporate strategy across the enterprise.This role reports to the VP, Strategy. Preference is for candidates located near Meridian, Idaho. This role may be remote from a mutually acceptable location; frequent travel to the Meridian campus is required for non‐local candidates. #LN-Hybrid**To be considered for this opportunity you have:****Experience:** Ten (10) years experience in business strategic planning, enterprise process analysis and/or engineering, or business or enterprise architect experience to include management experience**Education:** Bachelor’s Degree; or equivalent work experience (Two years’ relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college)**We'd also love it if you have:*** Experience working for a health plan or health care delivery system* Project leadership experience within the healthcare industry* Experience leading large-scale innovation and/or process improvement* A deep understanding of healthcare systems, regulations, and industry trends**You will be an excellent fit for this position if you:*** Are comfortable interacting with partners across all levels with a high level of professionalism* Have project or program management experience, leading and running complex organizational projects* Have a demonstrated track record of achievement with the ability to identify and deliver on customer expectations through consultation and project management* Have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively collaborate with leaders at all levels of the organization* Work effectively with cross functional groups, fostering teamwork with a focus on quality* Rapidly adapt to changing business needs and priorities in a highly competitive and government regulated environment**In this role, we will ask you to:*** Lead and work with executives across the organization to analyze, design, build, and monitor the corporate strategy. Support Executives in the development of strategic business plans that align to the corporate strategy.* Lead large, complex enterprise strategic priorities for key initiatives and lead cross-functional teams.* Help shape the strategy and future direction of the company, as well as challenges and opportunities that are inherent to that strategy and direction.* Direct the activities of individuals representing multiple business areas, achieving results in a matrixed organizational structure, leading across the organization to achieve program objectives.* Estimate, manage, and deliver complex, large scale, time-sensitive projects in a matrixed and results-driven culture, while ensuring quality and timeliness criteria are met.* Develop and present executive-level communication and messaging in multiple mediums and forms, including constructive presentation of risk/reward and trade-off information in a way that allows senior leaders and executives to make effective decisions.* Conduct performance evaluations and manage employees, including skill and career development, mentoring, coaching, and performance management* Coordinate with strategy leaders to identify gaps, drive forward critical priorities and optimization to support scale and improve efficiency.* Serve as a valued partner to architect, facilitate and drive complex planning and strategy development with enterprise executive and senior leadership team and cross-functional leadership teams.* Ensure alignment of enterprise business strategies with the company's strategic direction and plan, by facilitating planning sessions with business partners to develop working roadmaps with key actions, achievements, timelines and accountabilities.* Partner in the execution of the enterprise strategic plan and corresponding segment plans, including planning and business initiative development.* Coordinate with product management leadership, connecting multiple collaborators with complex scope and matrixed areas.* Lead the timing to optimize and drive strategic value.* Collaborate with appropriate internal collaborators to align and deliver key pivotal initiatives.* Review existing strategies across all business areas to ensure alignment with the overall corporate strategy. Work closely with the strategy implementation team and leaders of the business architecture team to facilitate integration of opportunities with implementation planning and resource allocation into well-articulated business strategy. Provide insights and perspectives on key project components that will impact current and future strategies.* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range is $153,360 to $230,040. The position is eligible for an annual incentive bonus (variable depending on company and employee performance). The pay range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, travel requirements, internal equity, business or organizational needs, and alignment with market data. At Blue Cross of Idaho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for the position.
